Teemu Vidgren is a Finnish designer and interior architect specializing in spatial design, textiles, and furniture. He holds a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture from Aalto University (2022), with a minor in textile design, and a Bachelor’s degree in Design from Turku University of Applied Sciences (2018).

Teemu’s design merges Finnish cultural heritage with subtle influences from Japanese traditional craftsmanship, particularly visible in the aesthetic details, joinery, and spatial compositions found in his work. He works with high-quality, natural materials such as wood, wool, linen, and ceramics to create timeless, minimalist yet decorative objects and spaces that evoke a sense of calm and connection to nature. His designs emphasize structural integrity, material sensitivity, and sustainability, resulting in versatile and thoughtfully crafted pieces that honor both tradition and the environment.

Since 2019, Teemu has worked with AW2 Architects and ONE Architects, focusing primarily on large-scale hospital projects, such as Siltasairaala and Ahveniston sairaala. He also teaches part-time at Aalto University (course: Textiles for Interiors and Architecture). As these roles are not full-time, he is able to dedicate time to his own projects. Teemu is open to collaboration and new opportunities with like-minded clients.
