Tetsu Vaasi

2024

Tetsu Vaasi is a ceramic artwork exploring the subtle balance between open and closed forms.

The structure partially reveals the stems, creating a visual dialogue where form both conceals and exposes. It holds a sense of control while allowing the stems to find their own direction, symbolizing the tension between structure and freedom. The rust-like surface reflects the passage of time, while the open walls echo architectural forms. The piece feels grounded yet alive, a meeting of crafted form and living growth.

Material: clay + glaze
